Mother’s (#56, 10/15/2002)

This place is almost always highly-recommended by people from out-of-town. I’ll stop short of calling it a tourist trap, but based on location, everybody from out-of-town seems to go there. There is often a long wait and it’s not that special. They do serve breakfast all day which is a good thing, but the amazing thing is – they don’t have bacon! I can’t get over this. Why wouldn’t they have bacon? Their specialty is baked ham, so they obviously aren’t against the pig. What’s the deal?
